Be authentic in your writing. Be real. No need for pretense. Be genuine and value what you have written. It really is a gift to yourself and to your readers.
Being authentic is writing something that is relatable and interesting to your readers. That’s what I do. When you read my stories you learn something about me. Many of the characters that I create are authentic and real. Everyday people in everyday life.
By sharing my thoughts with you, I’m already writing a story. I am able to build a story from a story, if that makes sense. I encourage you to write, even if it doesn’t make sense. Sooner or later you will be able to make sense of it.
